Bulgaria is a small country, situated in the Southeast Europe.With a territory of 110,990sq.km Bulgaria ranks as the 15th largest country in Europe. It borders five countries - Romania to the north(mostly along to Danube), Serbia and Republic of Macedonia to the west,Greece and Turkey to the south and Black sea to the east.Several mountainous areas define the landscape, most notably Stara Planina and Rhodopi mountain ranges, Rila(the highest mountain in the Balcans, Pirin, Strandzha and Vitosha(nearby Sofia-Bulgaria's capital city)
